Drop and Inverse Raises
Raises are used for a variety of purposes in mining, the most common of which are transportation of ore and waste rock, ventilation, creating free space for mining or for movement of miners via ladders.
Drop raises are drilled from the top and taken in sections. Inverse raises are formed when 15m are drilled and blasted in one shot. We understand that the critical success factors of these methods are accurate drilling and proper loading. We accomplish this through our bar & arm setup or our V-30 drilling method.
